Real people. A feed with an ending. A business model that doesn’t need you angry. Antix is being built around different incentives, from the first line.

Participating accounts will need adult identity verification. Your legal identity is intended to stay out of your public profile. Browsing won’t require verification.

Verification reduces some abuse; it cannot eliminate bots or coordinated humans.

The planned business model excludes behavioural advertising profiles and personal-data resale. Revenue should come from value, not the minutes we can extract.

02 / THE REASON WE EXIST

Anti-manipulation.
Pro-human.

We started with a refusal: social shouldn’t feel anti-social.

Antix grew out of frustration with what X has become. The documented failures below—deceptive verification, opaque advertising and coordinated influence operations—are our starting point. The attention economy reaches further than one app.

Our answer is to change the incentives, protect public pseudonymity, and make power answerable to the people using the platform. More room to disagree. More room to be ridiculous. More room to be yourself.

That is our mission and interpretation of the evidence. We do not claim that all technology companies act alike, that every user is manipulated, or that no other alternatives exist.

Regulator finding · 5 December 2025

The European Commission fined X €120 million for deceptive blue-checkmark design, deficiencies in its advertising repository and barriers to researcher access to public data.

Context & limitations

This is the Commission’s dated decision under the Digital Services Act, not a claim that every X account is fake or a statement that all appeals have concluded. Rechecked 24 September 2026 against the Commission notice.

Our design: verification of participating humans, not a paid credibility badge. Planned until implemented and validated.

Division travels well.

Peer-reviewed research · 2021

Across approximately 2.7 million posts from US political and news accounts on Twitter and Facebook, language about political opponents was the strongest predictor of sharing among the factors studied.

Context & limitations

Observational research using pre-2021 posts. It establishes association, not that an algorithm caused polarisation or that users are deliberately indoctrinated. The DOI remains the canonical citation.

Our design: a chronological default, with no time-on-app ranking objective. Planned until implemented and validated.

03 / X / COORDINATED INFLUENCE

Sometimes the crowd is manufactured.

Law-enforcement account · 9 July 2024

The DOJ announced action involving 968 X accounts that affidavits linked to a Russian government-backed, AI-assisted bot operation spreading disinformation.

Context & limitations

These are allegations described in warrant affidavits, corroborated at the time by Reuters and AP. The DOJ also credited X with suspending accounts, including many before the government action. This case does not measure the share of all X activity that is automated. The official notice may sit behind access controls; the 9 July 2024 date and 968-account figure were rechecked against contemporaneous reporting on 24 September 2026.

Our design: unique-human participation plus coordination detection. Neither is a promise of immunity.

04 / META + YOUTUBE + X / DATA

Your life, turned into targeting.

Regulator staff report · 19 September 2024

An FTC staff report found extensive personal-data collection and monetisation across the social and video services it examined, with weak privacy controls. The companies that received the 2020 orders included Amazon (Twitch), Meta (Facebook and WhatsApp), YouTube, Twitter, Snap, ByteDance (TikTok), Discord and Reddit.

Context & limitations

The report draws on responses to orders issued in December 2020. Its sector-wide findings do not establish identical conduct at every company, and Apple was not in this study. Rechecked 24 September 2026 against the FTC press release.

Our design: no behavioural advertising profiles or sale of personal data. Planned until implemented and validated.

05 / APPLE + META / CHOICE

Choice needs an exit door.

Regulator findings · 23 April 2025

The Commission fined Apple €500 million over App Store anti-steering restrictions and Meta €200 million over its failure to offer the required less-personalised-data choice under the DMA.

Context & limitations

These findings concern specific EU practices and periods. They do not mean Apple runs a social feed or that the companies have identical business models. They are dated findings, not a claim about final appeal outcomes. Rechecked 24 September 2026 against the Commission notice.

Our design: usable data export and clear choices. Antix is a closed ecosystem; federation is not planned.

06 / GOOGLE / MARKET POWER

Defaults can become barriers.

Court remedy · DOJ summary · 2 September 2025

After the 2024 finding that Google unlawfully maintained search monopolies, the US district court imposed remedies in September 2025, including restrictions on exclusive distribution contracts.

Context & limitations

The linked summary is from the plaintiff, the DOJ. The findings concern search markets, not proof of a coordinated political agenda across technology companies. Rechecked 24 September 2026 against the DOJ notice.

Our position: a meaningful alternative needs different incentives, not simply different branding.

04 / A FEW THINGS, UNREDACTED

Fair questions.

What exactly is Antix?

Antix (pronounced “antics”) is a social platform in development by SOCii Pty Ltd. The plan combines verified-human participation, public pseudonyms, a chronological default feed and a business model without behavioural ad targeting. This site is a coming-soon preview, not the launched social network.

What does founder status give me?

Your pre-launch persona records your reserved handle and founder status. The intention is access from launch, without a separate invitation queue, once eligibility and identity verification are complete. It is not equity, a paid investment, lifetime free service or an exemption from the rules. No launch date or verification outcome is guaranteed.

Is my persona my legal identity?

No. Your persona is the public name you choose. The launch plan requires private adult identity verification before posting, replying or voting. Browsing is intended to remain available without verification. This registration does not collect ID documents, legal name or date of birth.

Can you really stop bots, brigading and influence operations?

No responsible platform can promise immunity. Antix plans to combine unique-human verification, coordination detection and accountable moderation. Real people can coordinate harm; identities can be compromised; detection can fail. These safeguards must be implemented and tested before effectiveness can be claimed.

What’s behind the redactions?

Some product details are still in development. You can reveal the public commitments here; operational anti-abuse thresholds will stay confidential. Policies, appeal rights, important limitations and collection notices will not be hidden behind the mystery.

Will it be free? Will there be ads?

Reserving a founder persona is free. Launch pricing is undecided. The planned model permits subscriptions and limited ads based on interests you declare, with no behavioural targeting. We are not promising an entirely ad-free platform.

What stops Antix becoming what it opposes?

The proposed charter prohibits behavioural advertising, data resale and time-on-app optimisation. Removing protections would require 60% turnout of eligible verified users and 80% support among votes cast. This is a draft governance design, not an enacted legal guarantee.

How does moderation work?

The plan requires specific notices, a seven-day appeal window and human review before account-level punishment. Insufficient evidence is distinct from a knowingly fabricated report. Political enforcement focuses on verifiably fabricated quotes, screenshots and documents, not contested political interpretation.

Is this an open or federated network?

No federation is planned. Antix will be part of the SOCii ecosystem. Usable data export is a planned safeguard, but it does not remove network effects or guarantee your audience can move with you.

When do the doors open?

The launch date is not announced. Your reservation can be viewed by returning to your persona with the same sign-in. Launch access depends on the production rollout. This site does not send launch emails unless a delivery service is connected and tested.
